Hip Hop Beginner Workshops (7 – 10 Year Olds)

FREE

3 Free workshops! Thursday 6th August, 13th August and 27th August, 1:30pm – 3pm at St. Faiths, PO1 1HT.

On the 6th, 13th and 27th of August we’re doing afternoon hip hop workshops for 7 – 10 year olds!

In these classes, your child will:

  • Learn the foundations of Hip Hop such as bounce and rock.

  • Discover how to dance in time with music while building rhythm and coordination.

  • Pick up new Hip Hop moves each week and link them together through short choreographies.

  • Begin exploring freestyle dance, gaining the confidence to express themselves in their own unique style.

  • Play fun dance-related games that reinforce learning while encouraging creativity and community.

This class is about building confidence, creativity, and connecting with the style. Your child will develop skills they can carry into all areas of life, while having a great time with new friends.

Book by date one at a time. Include all children on booking. Recommended to book for the earliest one you can make upon seeing this for maximum value.

The Teacher

Hi, my name is Conor also known as Templar, and I created both Templar Street Dance and this website! So after reading through these pages you may already feel somewhat acquainted with me. I’ve been dancing for just over 9 years and have been teaching classes for 5 years. I’ve been professionally performing and dance battling for years but now my day to day is all about helping create the next generation of dancers, e.g your children! If you would like to see more of what I do, the easiest way is to watch some of my dance videos on Instagram at @templaranimated or the few we’ve posted on YouTube at @templarstreetdance. Look forward to seeing you and your child at our classes soon.
